Conservation and Adaptive Reuse of Butler Palace Complex
Lucknow has a number of heritage structures such as forts, palaces, havelis and other monuments built before 1950s with rich historical past. Considering immense potential of one of the enemy property Butler Palace, Lucknow Development Authority, has taken steps to conserve and promote adaptive reuse in the building. The building will be reused for community which is a strategical way to preserve structure while giving it new life and purpose.

The project involves careful repairs/reassembling, strengthening of the structure including woodwork, lime mortar work, adaptive reuse, landscape, electrical, plumbing etc. all relevant works required to restore the heritage properties to its complete glory with activities.
Development and Beautification of Butler Palace Jheel
The Butler Palace Jheel in Lucknow is undergoing a major rejuvenation and beautification project led by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). The lake, which had almost dried up, will be revived by laying a 750-meter-long pipeline to bring treated water from the Dalibagh Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).
Conservation work of the historic Butler Gate in Butler Colony
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has initiated the conservation and landscaping of the historic Butler Gate in Butler Colony, Lucknow. The project includes structural restoration, aesthetic enhancements, and surrounding beautification to preserve this heritage structure. The restoration aims to maintain the historical significance of the gate while integrating it into the city’s evolving landscape.
